The U.S. Department of Agriculture has sanctioned four produce businesses after they failed to pay reparation awards, a violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.
The companies are:
- Agrifresh Harvest Inc., Brawley, Calif., for failing to pay $24,661 to an Arizona seller. The responsibly connected officer is Frank Avila.
- Organic Alliance Inc., Salinas, Calif., for failing to pay $40,937 to a Texas seller. The responsibly connected officer is Parker Booth.
- Cleveland Fruit Market LLC, Cleveland, Miss., for failing to pay $45,548 to an Alabama seller. The sole responsibly connected member is Kenneth Morris.
- Green Hill Farms Produce Inc., Morristown, Tenn., for failing to pay $20,207 to a Florida seller. The responsibly connected officers are Michael Bradley, Heather Bradley, and James Wilson.
