The U.S. Department of Agriculture cited Delicias Produce Co. Inc. for violating the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act by failing to pay for produce.

The Nashville, Tenn.-based company failed to pay $519,883 to 15 sellers for 62 lots of produce and as a result is barred from operating in the industry until May 20, 2015.

The responsibly connected individuals are Rosa Lozano and Brenda Farley. They cannot work in the industry or be affiliated with any PACA licensee until May 20, 2014, after which they can be employed if a surety bond is posted with the USDA.
