USDA suspends PACA licenses of four companies

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has restricted four produce businesses from operating in the industry after they failed to pay reparation awards, a violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

The companies are:

  • Coy Burrows, doing business as Palmareal Produce Corp., McAllen, Texas, failed to pay $14,283 to a Texas seller. The responsibly connected proprietor is Coy Burrows.
  • California Produce Procurement Inc., Visalia, Calif., failed to pay a $51,282 award to a California seller. The responsibly connected officer is Crespin Rodriquez.
  • Glacier Valley Produce Inc., Kent, Wash., failed to pay $6,466 to an Oregon seller. The responsibly connected officer is Timothy Laughlin.
  • Uno Marketing Group LLC, Santa Ana, Calif., failed to pay $15,445 to a Texas seller. The responsibly connected individuals are Edith Bejar and Angel Bejar.
