The Agricultural Marketing Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture is scheduled to present a free Web seminar on the complaint process related to the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act on Feb. 22.
The seminar is set for 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The presentation is free, but attendees must register online prior to the seminar.
John Koller of the PACA division at AMS is scheduled to discuss how to interpret inspection certificates, the proper acceptance procedures for produce and multiple options to resolve business conflicts.
Additional topics on the agenda include how to file an informal PACA complaint, mediation, working through a final complaint and how the PACA Trust works.
