The United Fresh Produce Association is accepting applications for its Industry Leadership Program.
Applications will be accepted through April 7 for this year’s class, the program’s 20th, according to a news release from Washington, D.C.-based United Fresh.
More than 200 industry members have graduated from the program since its 1995 launch.
“Twenty years is a major milestone and we are incredibly indebted to DuPont for their steadfast support and the investment they have made in the produce industry,” Tom Stenzel, United Fresh’s president and chief executive officer, said in the release.
DuPont Crop Protection is the program’s founding sponsor.
Each year, the program selects 12 fellows, who pursue four main goals: leadership development; business relationships; government and public affairs; and media and public relations.
