Valhalla Farming adds quality assurance/food safety director

For the first time in more than 25 years, Valhalla added vegetable growing and marketing this year to the company’s fresh fruit inventory.

“Lupe has excellent knowledge of packing eggplant and other vegetables,” said Dave Stone, owner. “We are looking forward to expanding our vegetable business.”

Verduzco brings to Valhalla many years of field experience, Stone said. In addition to overseeing field operations and quality assurance, Verduzco will monitor the Primus audits for the company’s field and packing operations, he said.
