Paul Selina, vice president of applied research for Village Farms, is the scheduled keynote speaker for the Nevada Indoor Agriculture Conference on April 24 in Las Vegas.

The conference will gather an audience of leaders, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, growers and investors, according to a news release.

Village Farms, headquartered in Eatontown, N.J., is one of the largest growers and marketers of hydroponic greenhouse production in the U.S.

Selina will discuss the importance of indoor agriculture to the future of farming, the present opportunity to sustainably increase local food production in intemperate climates and the key factors leading to a future success in the U.S. marketplace.
