Well-Pict’s latest berry varieties, are technologically advanced for year-round crops even throughout the winter.
The Watsonville, Calif.-based Well-Pict’s latest strawberry variety, No. 9271, are available all year long, according to a news release.
Proprietary raspberry variety No. 2933 is also in production in Watsonville from April through November, before Well-Pict transitions the customer base to Oxnard, Calif.
“The characteristics of our raspberries include a very large size, full color and an excellent flavor profile. They have been very well-received by the industry,” Dan Crowley, sales manger for Well-Pict, said in the release.
Well-Pict plans to have berries on display and available for sampling at Oct. 26-29 during Fresh Summit 2012 in Anaheim, Calif., according to the release.
