Whole Foods Market hopes to increase by 75% the number of Fair Trade Certified Haitian mangoes it sells this season.

Haitian Francis variety mangoes are available in May and June in Whole Foods stores, according to a news release from the Austin, Texas-based company.

Whole Foods’ Whole Trade Guarantee program features Haitian mangoes that have earned Fair Trade Certified status.

This is the third year Whole Foods has sold the mangoes, and many stores expect to also boost sales of organic Fair Trade Haitian mangoes this season.
