Wholesum Family FarmsWholesum Harvest's new website is easier to navigate on mobile devises and features fresh content. The Organic Produce page shows visitors a list of the company's organic produce. Wholesum Family Farms, owner of the Wholesum Harvest brand, relaunched its website — http://www.wholesumharvest.com — to showcase an easily navigable interface, fresh content and better functionality on mobile devices.
FreshXperts, a produce consulting group, helped Wholesum with the relaunch, according to a news release..
“We wanted to make it simpler for customers to locate the information they find most relevant. The new design brings the most popular content closer to the front of the site, in many cases to the homepage or just one click away,” project manager Mike Chirveno of FreshXperts said in the release.
Wholesum Harvest decided to pursue a mobile first approach due to the growing demand for information on mobile devises. The approach includes improved performance from mobile phones and tablets, offers quick access to the most frequently searched information and reduces unnecessary information.
The website includes information about Wholesum Harvest’s commitment to organics, sustainability and social responsibility. The site has an extensive recipe collection and food preparation videos created by executive chef Tony Merola. Site-goers can adjust recipes by specifying the desired number of servings. Grocers and distributors can also access content dedicated to their fields from the home page.
