Organic grower-shipper Wholesum Harvest is sponsoring a contest featuring photographs of dishes made with Wholesum products.
The contest, “It’s All About Cooking,” is on the Nogales, Ariz.-based Wholesum’s Facebook page, according to a news release.
In the contest, which runs March 1 through Nov. 1, Wholesum’s Facebook friends post photos of dishes they’ve made using Wholesum organic vegetables or mangoes.
Winners will be chosen based on votes each photo receives online. A winner will be selected every month and will receive a Porsche stainless steel chef’s knife.
Also, through weekly drawings, contestants can win Wholesum Harvest aprons, oven mittens and cutting boards.
“We are excited to see how people are using our fresh, organic produce in their own kitchens,” Ricardo Crisantes, Wholesum’s general manager, said in the release. “Social media, such as Facebook, provide a great forum to share new recipes and ideas. We hope that people will enjoy the spirit of this contest and invite friends and family to participate as well.”
