Xata’s Twitter campaign aids truckers' fund

Xata Corp. is using Twitter to raise money for the St. Christopher Fund, a nonprofit that assists truck drivers facing medical bills and unemployment due to illness or injury.

Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Xata will donate up to $1,000 to the fund, $1 for each new Twitter follower, from Feb. 7-28, according to a news release.

The company’s Twitter tag is @XataNation.

Xata is a provider of fleet optimization software and other transportation technology.
