Rainier Fruit Co. is now a stop on the Yakima, Wash., city bus system.

Workers at Selah, Wash.-based Rainier taking the bus will now be dropped off at the company’s main entrance, instead of having to walk nearly a mile from the formerly closest stop, according to a Rainier news release.

The service, provided by Yakima Transit, began March 24.

In its first weeks the service has seen positive results for Yakima Transit, Wayne Parsley, the agency’s field operations manager, said in the release.
