YottaMark adds former Kroger VP to board

GriffinYottaMark, Inc., Redwood City, Calif., the company that provides the HarvestMark traceability platform, named Reggie Griffin to its advisory board.

Griffin retired in 2011 from his position of corporate vice president of produce and floral merchandising and procurement for The Kroger Co., Cincinnati.

Griffin has had numerous other produce industry positions throughout the past several years, including chairman of the Produce of Better Health Foundation, president of the Houston Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Association, chairman of the United Fresh Produce Association and board member for the Produce Marketing Association.

“As a retail industry leader, his endorsement is powerful,” J. Scott Carr, president and chief executive officer of YottaMark, said in the release.

YottaMark’s board now includes former executives from Fresh Del Monte Produce, Safeway and Wal-Mart.
