(April 5) Hass Avocados from Mexico – M.H.A.I.A. – has renewed its NASCAR sponsorship program for 2007.

According to a news release, the 2007 sponsorship season will debut April 28 at the Talledega Superspeedway in Alabama.

The marketing campaign will apparently include local radio advertising, race-themed point-of-sale materials, recipes and a trade sweepstakes that will give retailers a chance to win the grand prize of an in-store personal appearance with driver Dave Blaney and the No. 10 HassCar, along with VIP tickets to a NASCAR race.

“The NASCAR sponsorship gives us unprecedented exposure through the fastest-growing sport in the nation,” said Chris Tully of Preston Tully Group, Garden City, N.Y., in the release.
