USDA scientists made a big mistake in calling this symptom Sweet Orange Scab (SOS)and they still refuse to admit it. The syndrome is caused by an opportunitic fungus that was very closely related to the true SOS fungal pathogen but only resides saprophytically on fruit wounds.

I know someone who would have a good idea on prevention of this fungal pathogen. If you would like to be connected send me an e mail at dmiller@advancingecoag.com and I would be glad to see if I can get an appointment for you.
