Ron Wynn, a veteran of nearly three decades in California’s fresh fruit industry, has joined Vero Beach, Fla.-based Seald Sweet International as general manager of west coast sales and operations in the company’s Visalia, Calif., office.
“We are excited to have Ron joining our team and look forward to the success and opportunities he will bring to Seald Sweet through his experience in the industry,” Mayda Sotomayor, chief executive officer of Seald Sweet, said in a news release. “We feel Ron will be instrumental in the further expansion of our West Coast operations.”
Wynn was vice president of sales for Ballantine Produce for several years before the Sanger, Calif., company halted operations in spring 2009.
In his new position, Wynn will oversee the Visalia office’s citrus and stone fruit sales divisions.
He replaces David Muse who left the company last year to pursue other ventures.
