Idaho Potato CommissionThe Idaho Potato Commission is introducing a tool that calculates potato costs per-serving.

The Eagle-based organization has added a cost and size section on its website, which helps reduce waste and encourages more cost-effective ordering, according to a news release.

The cost and size calculators help operators take the guesswork out of purchasing potatoes and through the tools, users can view real-time numbers for reducing food costs and maintaining customer satisfaction, according to the release.

Buyers can also order printed copies of the size guide and cost calculator.

The site also provides potato menu applications in a comprehensive foodservice recipe database.

Users can also download a foodservice tool kit and an Idaho potato variety poster as well as learn more about potatoes.
