Onions from Idaho and Eastern Oregon will be featured twice in the coming weeks on “Balancing Act,” the morning program on cable television’s Lifetime Network.

The scheduled broadcast dates for the onion segment are Sept. 24 and Oct. 22, according to a news release from the Idaho-E. Oregon Onion Committee, Parma, Idaho.

The hour-long “Balancing Act” airs at 7 a.m. weekdays.

Sherise Jones, the committee’s marketing director, appears on the TV segments, and will share with viewers cooking tips and new recipes while educating consumers about the health benefits of onions and the Idaho-Eastern Oregon growing region, according to the release.
