The Forest Park, Ga.-based company formerly known as Destiny Produce is now Destiny Organics.

The company has added dairy products, meat and packaged goods to its distribution line-up, but hasn't shrunk the size of its produce program, said Cheryl Wilson, sales and marketing.

"We started out with only produce and have now expanded into other products, with our focus being only local and regional producers, organic and sustainable products," Wilson said.

Wilson said all of the company's produce is certified organic.

"What makes us unique is we're acting as a representative for the small farms and artisan farmers, acting as a resource for them to get their products into grocery stores, institutions and restaurants," Wilson said. "Our cucumbers may be from three different farms, but they're all local farms."

Along with its name change comes a new logo and Web site. The new site,, should be live May 5. Until then, the company may be found at

Destiny Organics also plans to roll out its new identity at the Alive! Expo, a consumer health and wellness event May 16-17 in Atlanta.
