A new study from Allied Development estimates 3.4% annual growth in the U.S. foodservice packaging market and $10.8 billion in sales by 2013.
The 320-page study looks at technology, market and economic drivers of the U.S. foodservice packaging market, which had an estimated value of $6.6 billion in 2003, according to a news release from Allied Development, Burnsville, Minn.
The study, which costs $4,995, shows detailed segment forecasts to 2013, analysis of emerging trends, market conditions and drivers and current dollar values and consumption, the news release said.
Market segment categories examined include fruits and vegetables (two categories), beverage (37 categories), condiments (22 categories), dairy (33 categories), meat, poultry and seafood (28 categories) and seven others.
