Four Seasons raises $25,000 for Make-A-Wish

Four Seasons Produce Inc. raised $25,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Susquehanna Valley at its annual Customer Appreciation Golf Outing.

Ephrata, Pa.-based Four Seasons Produce Inc. raised $25,000 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Susquehanna Valley at its annual golf event Sept. 15. Ephrata, Pa.-based Four Seasons has now donated more than $300,000 to Make-a-Wish in the 16 years it has sponsored the golf outing, said  Ron Carkoski, the company’s president and chief executive officer and a Make-a-Wish board member.

About 240 people golfed at the Sept. 15 event, and 280 attended a dinner that followed, Carkoski said. Among the attendees were a leukemia patient, Jonathan Arrell, and his family, who recently returned from a Disney World vacation made possible by the foundation.
