IFCO Pallet Management Services joined with professional golfer Ryan Palmer for the IFCO Charity Golf Invitational.
The event was May 15 at Las Colinas Country Club in Dallas, according to a news release.
Three charities received support from this event, with $15,000 checks going to Feeding America and the North Texas Food Bank and a $20,000 check going to the Ryan Palmer Foundation, the release said.
Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks that provides food to 37 million people each year. The North Texas Food Bank, a member of Feeding America, focuses on 13 northern Texas counties.
The Ryan Palmer Foundation supports the Children’s Hospital at Northwest Texas and offers golf clinics, educational programs and scholarships, according to the release.
“IFCO’s industry partners have enabled us to raise $15,000 more than last year, and we are deeply appreciative of their continued commitment to these worthy causes,” David Russell, president of IFCO Pallet Management Services, said in the release.
