The March migration to Chicago-based Produce Pro replaced a homegrown system at the distributor, which serves the New York City area.
“After implementing (it) we immediately started to see real time accurate data which was not available to us in our old system,” Marian Manuel, John’s Market managing director, said in a news release.
The new system allows John’s Market to meet customer needs ranging from reports to customized invoices.
“With Produce Pro’s pricing functionality, I update what I need to and the system does the rest within the parameters I have set up,” John Burdo, owner of John’s Market, said in the release. His staff and managers received training on the software.
