Prices on the matchbox-sized Hobo UX100 series from Cape Cod, Mass.-based Onset range from $75 to $189.
“It bridges the gap between traditional loggers, which typically don’t have LCD displays and are limited in accuracy and memory, and larger, more expensive LCD loggers that require calibration,” Jessica Frackelton, senior manager of product marketing, said in a news release.
The loggers’ LCD display confirms operation and battery status.
Recorded data can be viewed in graphs with Onset’s software, Hoboware Pro. Multiple loggers can be batch configured, and data can be exported to text format for spreadsheet use. The features are available in five languages.
