A seminar in Lima, Peru, on Jan. 22 will give Peruvian exporters a chance to learn about food safety and traceability requirements.
U.S. traceability and food safety experts will speak at the seminar, according to a news release.
The experts include Ed Treacy, vice president of supply chain efficiencies at Produce Marketing Association, Newark, Del.; Dan Vache, vice president of supply chain management for United Fresh Produce Association, Washington, D.C.; and Robert Guenther, senior vice president of public policy at United Fresh.
Those who attend will be able to exchange ideas and questions with the speakers, according to the release.
The event is organized by AGAP and PromPeru and will be held at the Westin Hotels and Resorts in San Isidro, Lima, Peru, according to the release.
