By earning a Safe Quality Food Level 3 certification at its Swedesboro, N.J., processing facility, Ready Pac Foods Inc. has met top food safety requirements at all of its processing plants, according to a company news release.

Irwindale, Calif.-based Ready Pac specializes in fresh-cut fruit and vegetable products, including bagged salads and Disney-themed Ready Pac Cool Cuts Salads in bowls.

Tristan Simpson, director of marketing and corporate communications for Ready Pac, said in the news release that the SQF Level 3 certification helps improve efficiency.

The SQF certification requirements include comprehensive and consistent training designed to maintain the integrity of Ready Pac’s processing while ensuring food safety. SQF is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative.
