Robert Mann Packaging achieves high BRC score

Robert Mann Packaging has received high marks for its packaging manufacturing.

Robert Mann PackagingThe Salinas, Calif.-based Mann Packaging received an “A” grade from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, according to a news release.

The “A” grade is the highest available and demonstrates Mann’s commitment to food safety standards, Mann Packaging officials said in the release.

In 2012, Mann Packaging became the first corrugated manufacturer in the U.S. to achieve the BRC Global Standard certification for Packaging and Packaging Materials, according to the release. Since then, Mann Packaging has worked on what it characterizes as an aggressive continuous improvement program and has improved its grade within the BRC certification.

Started in 1971, Mann Packaging manufactures corrugated carton and cardboard boxes for the produce, floral and seafood industries with a focus on strawberry packaging.
