I've was notified by inspectors that one of my date palm groves shows signs of the dreaded "Red Palm Weevil" being present. I was deeply concerned and sought out a long time Somerton Arizona PCA named Bobby Shadrac Oliver, and had him take a look at my trees. After several hours he assured me that I have no RPW activity whatsoever, and that birds and rodents were causing similar damage to the trees. Another case of inspectors who have little if any insect knowledge. Growers beware of inspectors who know nothing more than trapping and killing time taking breaks. DR
