Wolfgang Orgeldinger named CEO of IFCO

Wolfgang Orgeldinger is the chief executive officer of IFCO Systems. With IFCO since 2000, he was chief operating officer and chief information officer before the promotion. He was with Computer 2000 and Digital Equipment Corporation before joining IFCO.
Orgeldinger succeeds retiring CEO Karl Pohler and is the group president of the Reusable Plastic Crates division of parent company Brambles Limited. Pohler was CEO for 13 years.
“The transition to Wolfgang’s leadership of IFCO ensures continuity in terms of continuing to serve the IFCO customer base and grow the business,” Pohler said in a news release.
Brambles aqcuired IFCO in 2011 to develop as a world provider of “reusable plastic crates solutions” from its 45 locations.
