In recognition of leading companies in the Cincinnati area, the Cincinnati Business Courier has named Caruso Inc. one of its Fast 55 award winners for 2011.
The Fast 55 award recognizes 55 of the fastest-growing private firms in greater Cincinnati, according to a news release. Winners were selected based on revenue growth.
Caruso, a Cincinnati-based storage, distribution, and repack company, has increased its revenues 33% in the past two years and is on pace for a 15% growth this year, according to the release. This is the first year the company has won the award.
The company distributes products, mainly produce, in a 12-state region.
“It’s a great honor because it has validated our diversification efforts that we set in place about five years ago in capitalizing on our core competencies to grow our business above and beyond strictly just focusing on produce,” said Jeff Busch, chief operating officer.
Fast 55 award winners will be honored at a luncheon June 9 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
