D&W Fine Pack, Fountain Inn, S.C., was recently included in a list of the top 10 thermoformers in North America by Plastic News, according to a news release.

The company is the result of the recent merger of Dispoz-o Products, Fountain Inn, S.C., Wilkinson Industries Inc., Fort Calhoun, Neb., and C&M Fine Pack, San Bernardino, Calif.

Plastic News, a publication for the plastics industry, surveyed 236 companies and ranked D&W Fine Pack the seventh-largest North American thermoformer.

The publication recognized the company’s total sales growth, from $4 billion in 2005 to $5.14 billion in 2010, according to the release.

The company recently announced that it will keep its 2 million square feet of manufacturing facilities in San Bernardino, Fort Calhoun, Fountain Inn and Fort Wayne, Ind. It has distribution facilities in Houston and Los Angeles.

D&W Fine Pack also will maintain its three brands. The Dispoz-o brand includes disposable cutlery, straws and foam products; Wilkinson offers clear plastic deli containers, hinged containers, platters and bowls; and Fine Pack includes plastic plates, bowls, containers and trays.
