The California Air Resources Board has scheduled a public workshop to discuss proposed amendments to the Airborne Toxic Control Measure, which aims to reduce diesel emissions.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on March 29 at the CalEPA building in Sacramento, according to a news release.
The measure, which the board adopted in 2004 and amended in November, applies to diesel-powered transport refrigeration units used in trucks, trailers, shipping containers and railcars.
