IBM has recognized Longwood, Fla.-based N2N Global for outstanding business practices with a 2011 Beacon Award.
N2N Global’s chief executive officer Ernesto Nardone accepted the award Feb. 16 at the Partnership World Leadership Conference 2011 in Orlando, Fla. The award, Outstanding Solution for Midsize Business, recognizes N2N Global for excellence in serving midsize companies with 100-999 employees.
“Today is an extremely special day for us,” Nardone said in an e-mail. “For IBM to recognize our company among 120,000 partners is a real privilege and an honor. I am also thankful to our clients that have been our partners in the industry creating these ‘best in breed’ solutions.”
N2N Global’s services help customers implement farm management and food safety programs, giving them more inventory visibility and ensuring Produce Traceability Initiative compliance.
The Beacon award recognizes IBM business partners that deliver innovative solutions and exemplary customer satisfaction, according to the release.
“The Beacon Awards are a way for us to honor an elite group of IBM Business Partners who are leaders in IBM’s Business Partner community and who have excelled in the marketplace,” Rich Hume, general manager of IBM Global Business Partners, said in a news release.
