A best practices manual for the fresh mango industry is now available in Spanish.

Spanish version of mango guide published

The Orlando, Fla.-based National Mango Board announced March 2 the release of the Spanish-language version of its Mango Postharvest Best Management Practices Manual, according to a board news release.

A Portuguese version of the manual, which was released in English in December, will soon follow.

Four years of research funded by the board and led by Jeff Brecht, a scientist at the University of Florida, preceded the manual’s publication.

The manual is designed to provide all members along the mango supply chain with tools and information to maintain mango quality and keep supplies consistent.
