The listeria does not just magically appear in the bag; It had to have come from somewhere. The usual culprit is the processing/packing line. How can they justify only recalling a single lot, when numerous other lots have rolled over and been sliced by the same equipment that contaminated this batch? Don't tell me it's because they have a sanitizing step between each batch, because clearly the sanitizing is not sufficient if listeria is still able to survive and make its way into the end product.

Hold your horses there fella......this may be false alarm too. Didn't River Ranch just waste million$ on a recall only to learn that it was a false positive?
