Los Alamitos, Calif.-based Frieda’s has been selling meyer lemons — a sweeter variety — for eight years and seedless lemons since 2011.
“We are thrilled to present new and improved packaging for our top-selling specialty lemons,” Karen Caplan, chief executive officer, said in a news release.
Both varieties are now in production in California. Frieda’s meyer lemons are grown in the state during winter and early spring and sourced from New Zealand during the offseason.
