The Tracy, Calif.-based shipper of value-added sweet corn will partner with its sales arm, Five Crowns Marketing, on the “Corn for the Cause” promotion, according to a news release.
Through the month, GloriAnn corn will ship in a pink tray pack with a sticker highlighting the donation program.
“This allows for merchandising opportunities for our customers, as well as increased consumer awareness for the foundation,” Daren Van Dyke, Five Crowns director of sales and marketing, said in the release. “My mother passed away at the age of 52 from breast cancer. I am very pleased we at Five Crowns and GloriAnn can put our efforts in.”
The National Breast Cancer Foundation promotes early detection awareness and provides mammograms for women in need.
