The National Grocers Association 2014 Expo, set for Feb. 9-12 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, sold out of exhibitor space in early December even though show organizers increased the show floor space by 45%.
With the extra space, the show is expected to have about 250 exhibitors, according to a news release.
The show will again include a fresh produce pavilion.
Charlie Bray, executive vice president and chief operating officer for the grocer association, said the 2014 show has new elements in addition to a larger show floor.
“We have incorporated the feedback from last year’s show attendees and have enhanced both the expo floor and educational programming to provide attendees with even more value,” Bray said in the release.
The opening general session is scheduled to include a keynote speech by former Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward.
