Redesigned Foxy organic logo to debut

Foxy organicCourtesy The Nunes Co.A new Foxy organic logo will start appearing this month at retail on packaging of vegetables marketed by Salinas, Calif.-based The Nunes Co.

It features a green leaf on top of the established red Foxy logo with the word “organic” serving as the foundation. Brown coloring in the word represents the ground the owners have farmed for four generations, according to a news release.

Besides conventional offerings, The Nunes Co. provides 17 organically grown items under the Foxy label, among them asparagus, kale, lettuce, cauliflower and broccoli. Supply is year-round from California, Arizona and Nevada.

“In redesigning the Foxy organic logo, we wanted to maintain the strong consumer recognition of the Foxy brand name and offer a graphic that symbolizes the company’s commitment to producing the highest quality organically grown fresh vegetables available,” Matt Seeley, vice-president of marketing for The Nunes Co., said in the release.

The leaf represents the company’s commitment to healthy, safe produce, he said.
