The Quincy, Mass.-based retailer raised the money through its 21st Annual Triple Winner Game, a partnership with the Boston Red Sox, which runs April 15 through July.
To date, the Triple Winner program raised more than $52 million through shopper donations, according to a Stop & Shop news release.
Stop & Shop spokeswoman Suzi Robinson said the company presented the donation Dec. 1.
