Dried fruit specialist Sunsweet has rolled out two new products.
Amazin Berry Blend and Amazin Cranberries are the latest offerings from Yuba City, Calif.-based Sunsweet, according to a company news release.
Both products are blends that contain Sunsweet’s Plum Amazin diced plums, which help reduce the sugar and calorie contents of the products.
Amazin Berry Blend is a mix of sweet and tart flavors that features diced plums, cranberries, blueberries and cherries.
With Amazin Cranberries, Sunsweet enters the cranberry market. The product offers 23% less sugar and 12% fewer calories than other cranberry products.
“Consumers continue to seek convenient snacks that also offer nutritional value,” Dane Lance, Sunsweet’s president, said in the release. “Our new Amazin products provide healthy snack options with less sugar and fewer calories for increasingly health-minded consumers.”
