Grapes are as easy as rinse, shake and serve with based Pandol Bros. Inc.’s new Quick Rinse Cube.
The new packaging from the Delano, Calif.-based company is designed to be held directly under a home kitchen faucet, and visibly conveys freshness and quality, said Tristan Kieva, director of business development and marketing, in a news release.

Pandol Bros. Quick Rinse Cube allows consumers to rinse grapes without removing them from the package.
“This represents ground-breaking change for the grape category and is directly in line with what time-starved consumers are seeking,” Kieva said, in the release.
Pandol Bros. said the “Quick Rinse Cube” offers retailers product differentiation, flexible merchandising and improved space efficiency and follows along with the grape industry’s trend toward hard-side containers to reduce shrink and provide maximum shelf impact.
“The retailer perspective represented a critical component of our design direction,” Kieva said, in the release. “That influence is a big reason why our presentation of the finished package to retailers has been so enthusiastically received. They are anxious to get it on their shelves.”
Available in the standard 2-pound size, the Quick Rinse Cubes launch nationwide with the start of the 2010 California grape season.
