Spanish clementines packaged with the Disney Garden label are now available from Vero Beach, Fla.-based Seald Sweet.
Vero Beach, Fla.-based Seald Sweet is adding another Disney Garden product to the line of citrus it’s been carrying since May 2007 — Spanish clementines.
The company recently received its first shipments of clementines from Jorge-Garcia Ballester, a citrus grower in Spain, according to a news release.
The clementines come packaged in mesh handled bags ranging from 2- to 4- pounds. They should be available through February.
“Disney Garden clementines make a perfect snack for kids,” said Melinda Goodman, director of marketing for Imagination Farms, the licensor of Disney Garden products, in a news release.
“Their small size is a perfect portion, and they are easy to eat without a lot of mess or hassle,” Goodman said in the release.
Clementines and other specialty citrus have been growing in popularity for the past several years, according to the release. Seald Sweet also packs domestic and imported citrus, including navels, grapefruit and minneolas, in the Disney Garden brand.
