Richard “Dick” DiStasio has been appointed chief executive officer of Orlando, Fla.-based Intelligent Global Pooling Systems.
DiStasio’s experience includes more than 30 years in manufacturing, distribution, and service companies. iGPS operates the world’s first pallet rental service that provides recyclable, plastic pallets with embedded radio frequency tags.

Formerly the operating advisor to Chicago-based Arbor Investments, a private equity firm, DiSasio served as president, CEO, and chairman of USF Corporation, formerly USFreightways Corporation, Chicago.
DiStasio’s experience also includes the position of CEO for global operations of Martin-Brower Company, Rosemont, Ill., the largest distributor of products to McDonald’s Corporation.
