Maurice A. Auerbach Inc. extends distribution reach
Maurice A. Auerbach Inc., has expanded its delivery distribution range.
The Secaucus N.J.-based wholesaler distributes to retailers, foodservice purveyors and other wholesalers throughout the Tri-State region of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
With the past year, it expanded its distribution to Chicago, Atlanta and Miami, said Bruce Klein, director of marketing.
Business remains strong in those regions for the garlic, asparagus, ginger, shallots, baby potatoes and onions it distributes, Klein said.
In late 2011, Auerbach doubled its storage capacity by relocating to a 60,000-square-foot distribution facility adjacent to a New Jersey Turnpike exit 15 miles from its former South Hackensack, N.J., headquarters.
The move distribution efficiencies and provided additional space to handle its products, Klein said.
