The board also worked with these bloggers through a partnership with Boulder, Colo,-based BlogFrog last year. Through 40 parent bloggers, the board reached consumers more than 2.5 million times.
The board also works with national media outlets.
“Parenting magazines received multiple mango deliveries from the National Mango Board as well as new and kid friendly recipes in 2012 and 2013,” McKenna said.
In addition, the board also offers resources on its website, such as games and recipes, some of which are new for 2013.
