The Produce for Better Health Foundation, Hockessin, Del., has plans a Twitter party in September to will focus on back-to-school and quick, healthy meals.

Each month, the foundation selects a different topic and offers information, recipes, tips and other points of conversation, according to Kristen Stevens, senior vice president.

“We invite our donors as well so they can extend their social media outreach and share their own commodity or brand specific tips and information,” Stevens said.

These parties have been popular with followers.

“Overall, the parties have been very successful, and our hashtags have trended four times (became a top topic on Twitter) since we began in 2012,” Stevens said.
