Famous expands
through partnership

Famous Software LLC, Fresno, Calif., is collaborating with Faceforward Software LLC, Yakima, Wash., to offer Faceforward, a reporting and data visualization resource used with fresh produce industry-specific “view packs.”

Famous said in a May 11 news release on its Web site that the view packs are designed to interface exclusively with Famous Software data, enabling users to generate customized reports, charts and tables.

Faceforward view packs also include reporting and analysis templates to assist users with creating customized reports.

Famous said in its release that Faceforward Software LLC will continue to sell, install and support its products and services directly, while Famous will continue to provide sales and support services for its core products and custom programming.

Zebra rolls out new mobile printer

Zebra Technologies Corp., Lincolnshire, Ill., has introduced the RW 420 Print Station, or model RW4-PS, a printer and handheld in one unit.

Zebra said in a June 7 news release that the RW4-PS is intended to enhance worker productivity by allowing workers to carry less equipment and fewer charging devices.

The product is capable of supporting the Motorola MC70 and MC75 handheld terminals.

The unit can produce and manage receipts, invoices, pick lists, load manifests and settlement report printing, work orders and order verifications.
