Modern Mushroom adds stuffed items to offerings

(Dec. 15, 1:15 p.m.) Spinach & Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms have been added to the lineup at Modern Mushroom Farms Inc.

The Avondale, Pa.-based company is offering the product in both foodservice and retail packs under the Modern Farms brand, according to a news release.

The retail packs feature a 4-count 8-ounce tray and the foodservice packs offer a 10-count 20-ounce tray.

The new flavor joins feta cheese and southwestern cheese flavors.

Stuffed mushrooms are ready to cook with minimal preparation. They need only be wiped with a paper towel and cooked for 12-15 minutes in the oven.

Modern Farms also added two packs to its specialty mushroom line. An 8-ounce shiitake and 8-ounce oyster mushroom now are available.
